Jon and Wendy Taggart raise and pasture their cattle on native and select cultivated grasses at their ranch outside of Grandview. Tour the ranch and learn about the importance of grass-fed beef. At the Boucherie (butcher shop) in Grandview the Taggerts dry-age and cut their own beef for optimal flavor and tenderness.

CHEESE: Veldhuizen Family Farm, Dublin, TX
Stuart and Connie Veldhuizen make aged, raw milk cheese from the milk of cows on their own sustainable farm. They graze their cows year round on pastures of oats, rye, sudan, alfalfa, and clover. The cheese is cave-aged on the farm.

VIOGNIER: Brennan Vineyards, Comanche, TX
Pat and Trellise Brennan have been making wine in Comanche since 2001 with grapes from their own vineyards in Comanche and Newburg.
